On a bright cold day as Martha knit the last line of pullover for John, the telephone rang.

It was their granddaughter from UK, she whispered, “Just as I was leaving for collage, I remembered you used to drop me to bus stop everyday. I called to say I love you.”

John smiled and disconnected.
