Do you know how much on an average a woman talks? The figure is about 13000 words more than man. I am not making this up. Check it here. Indiblogger wants us to pick 5 people- imaginary, dead, alive… who we would chat with and what would be talk about? Here are my 5:

Bill Watterson– The man created immortal, umar-less character Calvin and hobbes. I would probably give him instances from an Indian’s life and would continue to create C & H. It would be interested to see Calvin’s dad in lungi/kurta payjama and spanking Calvin away to glory while Calvin himself spits fire at the dad. Dont kids do this these days?

Shravan Kumar– The dude was thin like a stick but made his parents dream come true of visiting holy shrines. He carried them on this shoulder to lands far far away. King Dashrath, Lord Ram’s Dad, shoots him with this bow and arrow by mistake. This mistake costs him dearly and he gets a curse of losing son too or Putrashok someday. We all know what happens when the people in grief gave away curse, right? It comes true. I would pat his back for becoming an adjective in the modern world. It is quiet an accomplishment you see. Where now a days as we find the old age homes on a rise, this dude was certainly an inspiration.

Ekalavya– He was a dutiful student of Dronacharya who was not given a fair chance due to his caste. The teacher feared that if he became more sharp and aware of this talent, Arjun’s position might be in danger. In thee bygone days, the teacher had the right to ask for Guru Dakshina from the student. This particular teacher asked for Ekalavya’s thumb. Who can practice archery without a thumb. Well player Sir D. This politically motivated move was in fact of much use to Mahabahrata. Dont teachers step on talent to push the ones who fill their pockets? Same difference.

Gandhari– The wife of King Dhrithrashtra who blind folder herself to share the pain of the blind Husband. She is said to have 100 sons and 1 daughter. The kauravas basically. However she favored one son the most by making him almost invincible. So much for 100 sons eh! Just as parents who have 5-6 kids but wont consider adoption as an alternative. No offense to having kids but there are children around in the world who need love and care.

And last of all but the closest to my heart ever my Dadi. I want to say sorry for being away for so long. I wish I could reverse that.
