This is common in interviews and perhaps most of us faced one or the other… well I did one too…

In the first round of Centurion Bank of Punjab Interviews everything went ok and then the interviewer asked me if I was a leader or a follower? Now as far as common logic goes…companies only come to take two kinds of people…either leaders…to lead and set examples…or followers…to take orders execute them and follow other leaders around!

    It happened like this:
HIM: tell me you’re a leader or a follower?

(Trick is…if you tell him that you’re a leader and they are looking for followers…you loose…if its visa versa…you loose! If its one way…you will have to prove that meek…(well so called) or aggressive…(well so called) people can do well!…well if you don’t justify all these unnecessary arguments…you loose!!!! )

ME: Sir I have both the qualities…
HIM: Cmon…how can that possibly be? Do you have split personality? Prove it…!
ME: Well every Leader is a follower because every leader follows his/her principles first…and I am both a leader and a follower…

    Saved the day…!!!

Pallavi…that’s a very well researched piece of work!
